How our Vital Energy flows

The Pathways of Life Force
In alternative medicine, it is believed that vital energy, or life force, flows through the human body, nourishing the body and mind.
Qi, the vital energy that flows through channels called meridians.
These electromagnetic pathways run vertically up and down the body, similar to reflexology zones.
According to Chinese medicine, there are 12 primary meridians, each linked to an organ system like the liver, heart, or lungs.
For example, the Liver meridian runs from the big toe, up the inner leg, and ends at the ribcage.

Qi, derived from sources like nutrition and oxygen, is considered the root of life. Its flow through the meridians influences physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
Imbalances or blockages in Qi can lead to health issues. A healthy lifestyle enhances Qi, while an unhealthy one depletes it, leading to imbalances and, eventually, illness.

Reflexology supports the natural flow of energy throughout the body, promoting balance, relaxation, and self-healing.
The flow of Qi can become congested due to injury, illness, poor diet, stress, and other factors.

When this happens, the body may struggle to heal itself, leading to aches or illness.

Reflexology works to remove these blockages, allowing Qi to flow freely and promote balance or homeostasis.

By stimulating specific areas on the foot that correspond to different body parts, Reflexology encourages the flow of energy to those areas, restoring balance and helping the body to heal itself.
"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience."
